Yesterday we went to Cana for the renewal of wedding vows. (This was just for the parents) then we walked from there to the church of the annunciation for mass, this was the place where the angel Gabriel come to Mary and told her that she was to bear a son who would be called holy. Then we had a great lunch, I had chicken, pita bread, and some veggies (the veggies were not my favorite) after that we went to the mount of beatitudes, we went to a cave Jesus stayed and prayed! Finally we went to the exact waterfall where Peter and Andrew cleaned their fishing nets (they were two of the twelve apostles of Jesus) how do we know that is the exact waterfall? It's the only one there!

We also went to the Mount of olives
Demountable is a beautiful place here's a little something From our book. I'm home Sunday Jesus approached Jerusalem from the east descending upon the mount of olives Upon a Colt, And the foal Of a donkey. We visited the rock of agony, This is the rock Jesus prayed upon and Was eventually so antagonized he started to sweat blood. He selected Peter, James, and John to come with him Garden. He wanted them to stay and pray while they kept watch. However when Jesus came back from praying all three were sleeping. Please post a comment! Today!
Hey guys it is probably about 11:00 Kansas time, I just finished my dinner. It is 7:35 Israel time, we had just about the best day ever!! First I woke up at 4:00 in the morning and we walked down to the church, had mass, saw the slab Jesus was lain upon in his tomb, and touched the rock the actual cross was standing. Then we went to the hill country of judea and visited the place where Mary had met Elisabeth, who was to be the mother of John the Baptist. Which we visited the tomb of. Lots of tombs. Finally we went to Bethlehem and had a fantastic lunch of lamb, chicken, and beef. Then in my opinion, we visited the most holy Christian site in the world, the birthplace of Jesus! Please blog back to me! Ask to blog at school, and blog at home! Just remember that I may not get your blog until you are asleep because we are in different time zones, peace off!

Amazing Tuesday morning...
Got in last night. Had Mass in the beautiful chapel at our hotel, Notre Dame. Took an evening walking tour so we know the path to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Woke early and went to this church, before the tourists get out. Amazing! This church is built over the site of the crucifixion, the place where they prepared Jesus body and the tomb. The church is massive, however it's amazing how close geographically these events took place.
